Zed, our hero, is played by Sean Connery. Who else could pull off such an outfit - pony tail, red bandoleers, red underpants and red thigh-high boots. What a man.
Zed is an Exterminator, one of Zardoz's Chosen Ones.

It's not a film without flaw. And it's certainly a film of it's time, in many ways. If you can forgive it it's shortcomings, though, it's not too bad. That may take a little effort to do, however. In short, it's a film of ideas, with added naked ladies.

Designed for defense, patrol, denial, anti-shipping, interdiction, close zone support, and surface target attack. Serving during the 2250s, the 2260s and into the mid70s.
Development at Maxtech Defense began with a Earthican proposal request for 3rd generation light, multirole, fighters. Chief designer Chris Ogellogeinski, stayed in the well established and trusted P L Morris school of design for Vic Vipers.
