Cedarwood which in German is called Zedernholz. It also has a kind of zig-zaggy edge. The little red thing is nothing zeddy, I just felt it needed something extra.
Wooden puzzles bring you back to pre-social media world.. or pre-history... they are just so beautiful...

Everyone likes to joke around that The Zed Patch has real zeds (zombies) in it; that they come out at night.
Is it real? Of course its a real place! Its just a dark, dead patch in the middle of the woods where nothing seems to grow.
But as for the zeds? Well its just a rumor but something must be said: people DO go missing out there; especially those who venture out alone.
So if you dare venture out to The Zed Patch at night, bring a flashlight, watch out where you're walking, and bring a friend.
After all, there are a lot of zeds...and they are hungry.
Thank you to Vin Raven-Mysterious for collaborating with me and creating the custom poses! Check out his other dark. alternative, and unique poses and phenomenal photography in People in Photo: Be My Mannequin? Pose Store!

Macro Mondays - Zed; the cardboard tray was exactly 3" wide so I think it was originally designed with MM in mind ; ) Happy Macro Monday : )
For something supposedly relaxing & peaceful - I found trying to create a pattern of concentric rings in the sand with the little rake really stressful!

Happy Macro Mondays to you all!
Another load of wind turbine jackets heading to Nigg for offloading. Lucky to catch Red Zed II coming a bit closer to shore than most others as I'd been held up in traffic in Elgin on my home from work and the ship was almost past Lossie.

I have lots of rhododendron plants growing on our property and because they were there before we owned the home, I had to research what makes a rhododendron an azalea. Apparently, it's in the number of stamens and this little one, I felt, met the azalea criteria for having only 5 stamens. I made a little arrangement using a small succulent branch and placed them in a sake shot glass.
