'GAZANIA'
The gazania flower, named after the 15th-century Greek-Italian scholar Theodorus of Gaza, is a warm weather perennial native to South Africa.
Gazania flowers are a member of the daisy family and are also known as the treasure flower.
You should sit in meditation for 20 minutes a day. Unless you're too busy, then you should sit for an hour (ZEN PROVERB)
I had put it off for a long time, making new slippers for myself. But weather being so cold and all I really wanted a pair with a very thick sole. The lower part is norwegian c1 wool in many layers and the top is my usual 16 micron wool. I have embellished it with ribbon and organze Zed sent me in exchange for dome dyed wool.

Here's a Meyer-Optik Görlitz Orestor 100 mm f2.8 lens. It was designed in a style that is commonly known as a "zebra" lens. Snapped with a FA 50mm f2.8 Macro.

Hotel Zed (Zee in the US) in Victoria BC Canada. A funky new upbeat hotel that the manager, a woman by the way, has a Valentine's special where you can rent a room by the hour, for the hard working business person that needs a rest of course. haha! It's one of the most popular new hotel's amongst the under 50 crowd visiting Victoria. The cool VW bus is one of two they use for a shuttle service.
