We wanted to get away from the windy east side - the trade winds were blowing at a steady 20 mph, gusting up to 35 mph and it felt like getting sandblasted. We headed for Iroquois Point but it wasn't much better. We decided beach time wasn't going to happen so went up the west shore to Makua and Yokohama Beach - very awesome scenery. Very nice day out despite the wind.
I took these photos in January 2019.
The view of a observation deck Landmark Tower in Yokohama. There are still some snow on the ground and it makes the scene prettier.
横浜ランドマークタワーからの眺めです。まだ雪が地面に残っていて、いい雰囲気でした。

I was looking through some of my old photos and noticed that I had managed to take a few accidental stereo images. This is of a large sculpture that is near the Landmark tower in Yokohama.

This is actually a very good day, a nice blue afternoon sky and white swirling clouds,..and i finished this in color, entitled "into the blue". but then i had to check again in mono..
and i liked this version better.. supossed to be titled "gotham" as it reminds me instantly of the dark knight's city. but i decided to honor the city's real name.
Shown here is the Landmark Tower, a towering symbol of a small fishing village transformed into one of japans port city in the kanto region.
Note: constructive critiques accepted, i'd love to know my mistakes and ways to make better images in the future.

July 2009
View of Yokohama's from the top of the building called "The Landmark" at Minato Mirai 21district, Yokohama, Japan.
The mountain range in the background is the one that limits the landscape and precedes to Mount Fuji. Can you see it? :(
