The Maryland Midland's UBHF is building their train at the yard in Union Bridge MD on April 12, 2023. They have two tracks of cement loads to double up before heading west to Highfield and the interchange with CSX. SD40-2 #3451 had recently been washed and so it had a nice sheen to it.

[Lint, België]: Voor de verandering ging ik afgelopen dinsdag eens op pad met één van mijn analoge camera’s. Aangezien ik nog twee rolletjes 120-film had liggen die net waren vervallen, koos ik om met de Yashica D wat foto’s te maken. Door het grotere formaat van deze film zijn de negatieven 6 cm op 6 cm groot. Een leuk formaat om eens voor wat afwisseling te zorgen. Daarnaast vind ik het leuk om af en toe ook analoog te fotograferen. Terwijl we met digitale fotografie steeds meer streven naar “perfectie”, neigt analoog meer naar imperfectie. Ruis, krassen, stof, onscherpte, menselijke fouten, lichtvlekken, etc. maken elke foto echt uniek. Digitaal werken we deze dingen vaak weg met Photoshop, maar analoog behoudt deze vorm van authenticiteit. Tenslotte is het ook spannend om te achteraf te zien of de foto’s ook echt gelukt zijn.
Na een paar foto’s te maken langs lijn 25, wandelde ik terug naar huis. Onderweg passeerde ik over de voetgangersbrug aan lijn 13/1. Aangezien de IC naar Binche ongeveer op dat moment zou vertrekken in Lier, keek ik even op HyperRail wat de samenstelling zou zijn. Voor deze trein werden twee 800’en voorzien. Omdat ik nog twee foto’s over had en ik langs lijn 25 enkel ‘moderne’ treinen had gefotografeerd, bleef ik even wachten op de brug. Tijdens het wachten was het nog even zoeken naar een goed standpunt, aangezien deze camera geen zoomlens heeft. Een vijftal minuten later kwamen dan de 829 en 803 uit de bocht gereden onderweg naar Brussel en Binche en kon ik deze varkentjes (letterlijk) vastleggen op de gevoelige plaat.

The former B&O depot at Point Of Rocks MD has seen a lot of changes throughout the years. The building remains standing between two mainline subdivisions of CSXT but the depot itself is no longer used as a passenger station although MARC commuter trains do stop here. The depot is used by CSXT MOW and is on the National Register of Historic Buildings.
Here, the west end of the Old Main Line Subdivision (OML) joins the Metropolitan Subdivision. Both lines are busy with freight and passenger trains moving in each direction.

The, "Neon Sign Museum," is a permanent outdoor installation. The plaque outside the installation notes that some of the neon signs were donated by owners who didn't want the signs to end up as scrap. They are all signs from a bygone era in Edmonton.

After the photograph of the gorge wall, I turned around to walk back to the car. There is a little creek that runs through and falls into the gorge next to the overlook.
