Have to resort to stock photos because if I took any shots at the moment it would be a little dreary and damp.
I'm posting this before heading out on our xmas railway do (carnage comes to mind) .

This very high ISO picture is not technically perfect, but it perfectly pictures my idea of comfort. Who better than a cat knows how to get comfortable?
Oh, and it also says "Season's Greetings" all over the place, doesn't it? ;)

XMAS is still a month away, but Thanksgiving always signifies the time I shoot my yearly holiday photo with my pet. I did it every year with Lucy, and now I am starting the tradition with Monkey. Today was that day, though it is one day before Thanksgiving, I took advantage of bringing Monkey to school when the student population would be void. Everyone's home for the holiday. Yeah - a quiet campus! So with Monkey in her grey cashmere sweater, and me in my polyester sweater (I know, not even I have cashmere) I put up the backdrop and asked my coworker to shoot me with my camera. Can I just say those lessons from America's Next Top Model paid off. PROJECT THROUGH THE EYES, GIVE THE CAMERA ANGLES TO WORK WITH, and above all WORK IT!!!
Pictures taken during prepartion of our XMAS dinner. All pictures taken with the GX80 and Samyang T1.5/85mm + Zhyongyi Lens Turbo II wide open (-> 1.0/60mm). Cropped to 3:2 in LR using custom color profile.
