It would have been more appropriate to have had an image with ladders, paint tins, brushes and bags of plaster. All going well but hard work and some long days. At the moment I think I will be back with Flickr 100% by the end of April. The big work starts in the New Year with the bathroom and new kitchen.

Come si fa a sopravvivere a questo periodo?
C'è chi lo vive in tutta noncuranza e chi si cura, chi si fa travolgere dagli eventi, chi si tuffa nella folla del consumo, chi annuisce a tutto e si fa trascinare in improbabili percorsi cittadini rischiando di essere investito dal suv che non rispetta la precedenza, chi si spalma sul divano in attesa di tempi migliori, chi si ubriaca come una spugna per non pensarci, chi si fissa a guardare la fiamma del camino, chi incontra amici e parenti e poi se ne pente, chi va a sentire l'ennesimo concerto natalizio e si addormenta in poltrona, chi si abbuffa come un cinghiale e poi va a correre in orari impossibili per tornare in forma (hahahah), chi spende tutta la tredicesima in regali che poi verranno messi da parte, chi si ferma a riflettere sul senso del natale, e chi il senso non l'ha mai capito, chi si prende l'influenza e chi si lascia influenzare, chi si commuove davanti a un presepio, e chi il presepio non lo sopporta (c'hanno messo pure il premier), chi ama l'albero e chi lo taglia per cuocerci le salsicce, chi mette le palle e chi le rompe, chi si fa un regalo...il solito, e chi se lo aspetta ma non arriverà nemmeno st'anno.
Intanto il sole cala, scende e disegna nel cielo un rosso da paura, e forse ci racconta che il senso di questi giorni non l'abbiamo ancora capito bene, siamo sordi nell'animo e non c'è apparecchio acustico che tenga, per ascoltare gli altri si deve sentire con altre orecchie, e se non si è abituati a usarle beh c'è poco da fare, sono atrofizzate, e difficilmente si potranno riattivare!

The robin is often encountered during Advent and the Christmas season. It serves, for example, as a motif for Christmas postcards, tablecloths, or napkins. Even the lid of the tin for the homemade Christmas cookies is adorned with an image of the robin.
This seems to be attributed to the uniforms of postmen in England in the 19th century. They wore red jackets at that time. And since they delivered the Christmas mail, they were probably also called robins. However, perhaps someone here knows more about the background of this phenomenon. Your comments are welcome!
