Week 34 - Color Without Color - Xbox Game Controller
We picked up some Xbox controllers a little while back to give Need for Speed a try. Even though this is black and white, you can tell from the glow that there's some kind of colour coming from he LED's.

And I'm proud to admit it. Nothing wrong with being a girl and a gamer. I spent last weekend playing Bayonetta (loved it!, considering buying it to up my scores), I'm eagerly awaiting the Dragon Age expansion since I've played through 2 characters now, I played a bit of Darksiders in the not so distant past, I'm curious to play Dante's Inferno (downloaded the demo, but haven't seen it in stores to rent yet)... There have actually been a lot of really good games out so far this year! Yeah, I'm a girl gamer and proud of it. :-p
Rather than spend $70AU on a new controller, due to worn out analog stick... bought replacement parts for a grand total of $4 from ebay ! (all red parts are new)
An Xbox controller sculpted out of rice krispy treats and covered in fondant with colored fondant details and painted lettering. This was my first attempt at sculpting rice krispy treats.

Nice touch - each button hole has different cutouts so you don't put them in the wrong hole. The assembly in general is quite idiot proof as confirmed by the fact that my controller continues to work after I put it back together.
He wanted burgundy. The closest color RIT I could find was wine. The pic here makes it look pinkish but it's a lot darker in person.
Eastington, England - Oct 29th 2011: XBox 360 Video Game Controller. This controller has numerous buttons and joysticks to help control video games for the Xbox 360 gaming system developed by Microsoft.
I said I wouldnt post any shots of stuff on my desk in this 365 - but it is where I have been most of today. Popped out earlier but didnt take a camera with me! D'oh! The rest of today I have done a tiny bit of work, but mostly played some games or messed about with my dads new Nokia N65 8GB Phone - Its VERY nice :)
