This was the basic look of my very first ww2 scene i´ve made 1 year ago, sadly i did never finish that and i love the look of it so i thought i could remake it :D

The one in the front is an escort fighter and the one in the back is the Enola Gay. Taken at the Air and Space Museum. Chantilly Va. This place is a photo dreamland. They have natural lighting coming in, spots from above and floor lighting to fill from below. a little flash here and there for some creative impact and you're ready to go.Like many museums - No tripods allowed.

En 1944 el senado mexicano autorizó el envío de combatientes al frente de guerra del Pacífico. Al Escuadrón 201 se le asignó una base en el complejo del Campo Clark en la isla de Luzón, Filipinas, desde donde volaron en 59 misiones de combate sobre Formosa (hoy Taiwán), Porac y Pampanga, sobre la parte de Luzón en poder de los japoneses. I figured it was about time I had a general for the amercian troops. He is sporting the iconic ike jacket.
This was taken out front of my house with my Canon 60D and 430 EX ll flash. I just love leather jackets, and this one's got an especially significant history to it.

This memorial is located behind what was known as Sword Beach where British troops landed on 6 June 1945 as part of the invasion for the liberation of France and Europe.

The Allied offensive in north-western Europe began with the Normandy landings of 6 June 1944.
Ranville was the first village to be liberated in France when the bridge over the Caen Canal was captured intact in the early hours of 6th June by troops of the 6th Airborne Division, who were landed nearby by parachute and glider. Many of the division's casualties are buried in Ranville War Cemetery and the adjoining churchyard
The CEMETERY contains 2,236 Commonwealth burials of the Second World War, 90 of them unidentified. There are also 323 German graves and a few burials of other nationalities.
The CHURCHYARD contains 47 Commonwealth burials, one of which is unidentified, and one German grave
