This is a WW2 French tankette. It is 1:45 scale. Design by Rebla. Instructions from Mats. The color scheme/camo is still WIP. I might reupload this when I find a tan 2x3 slope for the main body. Hope you like it!

See need for speed too.

As noted by Flixos & Allen Rockwell, and I seemed to agree, this is actually a T-6 Texan, a USAF training aircraft, painted as German.

Yep, all of my World War 2 Allies! Fighting for Russia, America, and Britain! Feel free to add yourself!

Opel was Germany's top auto-producer throughout the 1930s. Opel automobile production ended in October 1940, after the company's American leadership had rejected an "invitation" to switch to munitions manufacture a few months earlier. In 1942 Opel switched to wartime production, making aircraft parts and tanks. They kept manufacturing trucks at the Brandenburg plant, where the 3.6-liter Opel Blitz truck had been built since 1938.

These little models were made to help German soldiers identify planes flying over their fortifications on the Atlantic Wall in Normandy during WW2.

"Turning the Sherman into a killer

From the hedgerow of Normandy, France, to the hills of Italy and the plains of Netherlands, the Firefly was one of the few Allied tanks the Germans learned to fear… Among the most potent Allied conversion of the war, and certainly one of the deadliest version of the Sherman, it was a clever -although risky and improvised- move to try to keep up with the latest German tank developments. At that time, the “basic” M4 Sherman equipped the Allies almost exclusively, from the US to the British, Canadian, ANZACS, Free Polish and Free French forces, and its limitations were well known before 1944.

Its basic 75 mm (2.95 in) gun was excellent to deal with other tanks at reasonable ranges and against armor up to 75 mm (2.95 in), or against fortifications and infantry. But facing the latest versions of the Panzer IV, the Panther and Tiger, it was woefully inadequate. However, the British Army had just received the superlative 17 pounder, which proved itself able to nail any known Panzer. Mated with the Sherman, this stopgap combination (before the new generation of Allied tanks could enter service) became lethal, and added its own weight to the Allied effort to secure victory."

Credit to Erik(www.flickr.com/photos/lemon_boy/) for parts of the chassis and suspension. Definitely recommend checking him out if you haven't already

(btw idk if this eligible for the contest but arguably it kind of filled the role of an allied heavy tank sometimes so ehh)

Oradour-sur-Glanes village. Sight of the worst atrocity in France during WWII. The french government at the time wanted to keep it an open air memorial & reminder of the horrors of war.

Flown by Hans Guido Mutke, a pilot of 9. Staffel/JG 7, this aircraft made an emergency landing due to lack of fuel at Dübendorf, Switzerland on 25 April 1945. "White 3" was then seized by Swiss authorities.

After many years of storage at Dübendorf, the aircraft was given to the Deutsches Museum in Munich on 30 August 1957 and it is currently on display. This video includes a tour of the cockpit, which is very much original.

My fathers granted leave during the war:

Enlisted October 1942 at age 26, at Sutton Veny, Wiltshire. I was 5 months old. Discharged November 1945 at age 29.

I found some soldier minifigs

and used them for this picture.

The tank was from a YouTube tutorial and the rest was from scratch.

1941. East Front. A beautiful Russian wooden church (where?) visited by German soldiers. Hope the War didn't destroy it. A good original photograph from my collection. Happy to share it after scanning.

Coventry's Neoclassical Drapers Hall is being lovingly restored by Historic Coventry Trust. It will soon be open for hire as a meeting/music/events venue. It is a real gem.

This Second World War poster found in the wine cellar which was used as an air raid shelter when Coventry was bombed. Despite the great fire across the road at the cathedral; Drapers Hall was not hit.

Traditional Boat Rally. Henley on Thames.

SO i just thought it was time for an update on the cherbourge city :)
