Hunstanton Lighthouse through St Edmund's Chapel.
St Edmund was born into the Wuffing family (Wuffa was the old English word for a wolf) and was the last of that dynasty which had ruled the Kingdom of East Anglia for over 200 years. He landed in Hunstanton in 855 A.D., and since then Hunstanton has had a long and close association with St Edmund.
Old Hunstanton Lighthouse is a former lighthouse located in Old Hunstanton in the English county of Norfolk. It was built at the highest point available on this part of the coast, on top of Hunstanton Cliffs and served to help guide vessels into the safe water of Lynn Deeps. Although the present lighthouse was built in 1840, there had been a lighthouse on the site since the 17th century (prior to which a light to aid navigation may have been displayed from St Edmund's Chapel, the ruins of which stand nearby).

Ooooh, I´m in a hurry!!! Yeppie yeppie yeppie, my parents are celebrating their 20th anniversary today. This sounds like such a loooooong time, considering that I´ll just be turning 8, a few weeks from now, wuff "HAPPY 20" =)))

As it was Mum's birthday yesterday we took her to the beach for a walk. The waves were very rough and kept running away from me. I'm 11 1/2 now, I was very tired when I got home! Wuff Dodgie

Canal boat on the Hackney side of the Regent's Canal opposite the Bethnal Green gasholders which are on the Tower Hamlets side.
Haggerston Gas Works used to be further west along the canal, but they were demolished and turned into parkland (Haggerston Park) following bomb damage in the second world war.
