Pushkar is a town bordering the Thar Desert, in the northeastern Indian state of Rajasthan. It's set on Pushkar Lake, a sacred Hindu site with 52 ghats (stone staircases) where pilgrims bathe. Note the amusing graffiti, warning signs...

Rain again, the weather was iffy this morning and worse this afternoon. I had enough good spells this morning to take a black file outside and take a very very close shot of it.

My EXIF says I was 5mm away from the file, wrong, I was nearer to ½mm.

I know that someone else has done a plain black photo; but once I'd taken the photo, I couldn't decide what to do with it so I added my title, just to change it a little.

Genius ? Right ? Most of us just s... in our pants just from thinking what would the world think (or certain people) think if we . . . I’m in love with him! . . . I go crazy over bedroom or hotel room decors ! Some people care about light & I do too but for me there’s something romantic, poetic, philosophical, mystical about the darkness. I fear its silence and fascinated by its ethereal aura.

Well back from the weekend and i'm still feeling flu-ish but much better than i was. This was a quick shot to express how i feel at the moment all contaminated and locked indoors unable to move, it's a pain being ill as it prevents you from doing a lot of basic tasks. Anyway getting over it now and looking up.

Created entirely by shoelaces donated by museum visitors and New York City students. Ward spells this phrase out in Old English lettering outlined with thousands of multicolored shoelaces. In doing so, he raises a fundamental question: Who is “we”? Ward’s work demonstrates how a gathering—whether of people or objects—can be a catalyst for transformation. The shoelaces speak to both the anonymity and mobility of the crowd.
