I found all of these old hand written pleadings between the leaves of this book today. Under the hand of a man long since gone. And a thank you note received from a friend, appreciated and hidden for safe keeping 60 years ago.
This talented young lady was writing names in Japanese, with more accuracy than a laser printer!
Given a slight blur and colour tweak treatment.

I was hiking around the lake into the evening, and was all of a sudden surprise to find another out there by the lake. It was pretty empty by this time.
This young woman there was writing away quietly ... and 'yes', I said writing and NOT typing as you can see there in this extended exposure. Not many people write with a pen or pencil anymore ...
I did not want to disturb her any longer than this quick capture I set up, hoping she would just continue on writing there like she did. Thought it would add some nice human element to this glorious landscape view.
If you view large, the extended exposure allows you to see just how she holds the writing instrument and moves it about, just in case you forgot how to do this ;))

This gorgeous large spider--- Argiope Aurantia---is known by the common names of "Black and Yellow Garden Spider;" "Corn Spider;" and my personal favorite, "Writing Spider," because the central portion of the web (the stabilimenta) bears a resemblance to writing.
