Write-up and (naturally) photos by yours truly.

Eleanor's writeup from the SPCR website:

ELEANOR…is a darling SEAL POINT SIAMESE. She is 2 years old, spayed and has her claws. She weighs a slim 7 pounds and has an easy, short coat and bright blue eyes. Eleanor came to us from a local shelter and was, as her foster mom describes her, “fur and bones.” She was very ill from her time at the shelter but through the constant TLC of her caregiver she has made a full recovery and is certainly ready for her FurEver Home! Eleanor is a very SMART, busy, playful kitty who is always on the move and loves to be by her people (Very social!). She is a bit talkative and likes to be a part of whatever is going on. Currently she is not a lap cat (too busy!) but that could change as she gets older. She loves to be pet and is quite affectionate. Eleanor will probably be fine with other pets as long as she is slowly and properly introduced. She did get used to the dog in her foster home, and though she tends to be dominant with other cats she would probably be fine with an easy-going male. Eleanor is very gentle with her playing and would be a good family cat with respectful kids.

Great show. Full writeup coming to my blog soon.

On the west bank of the Sacramento River, just upstream from the city. My 2015 writeup: Along the Road: West Sacramento.

This diagram in the machine does a better job of showing the paths than the writeup and illustrations in the manual. Read the manual in conjunction with this diagram.

The threads are a solid colored line where they can be seen when looking at the front of the machine. The threads are shown as colored dashes in some areas where they can't be seen. The area labeled with an A shows the needle threads going behind the piece that moves up & down.

A video of the needle threads at "Point A":

A few shots to highlight the replenishing of sticker stock levels by the online Uk automotive community & blog Fueltopia.

After a few weeks of replenishing supplies the store will soon be live again!

I popped by to get some shots whilst they were doing this, for an article on their site to help promote the availability of their stickers :)

Head on over to www.fueltopia.co.uk to see what they are all about.

From MAGfest, a music and gaming con in Alexandria. Working on a We Love DC writeup for Wednesday, so, you know, check back there later.

Since I have been getting rid of the majority of our household items (so we can sell the house and move), I’ve been going through old files and eliminating thousands of ancient once-important paperwork. It is surprising at how many times our family was featured in newspaper articles... dozens and dozens of times in the 1990s. Here is a full page article on Carol’s trip to Guatemala (I don’t know how the kids ended up in the picture too. They always seemed to make it into the newspapers or TV... even for doing nothing at all.)

HowaboutOrange put together a phenomenal writeup of RM's Shrinky Sheets.
