Exploring office workspaces, cubicle life and how our work environment impacts our work lives. 2008, Richmond, Virginia.
Part of 2008's Workspaces project. Also available on the web: www.taylordavidson.com/workspaces/
Overview of my complete workspace. In the other room is the windows testing pc and some stuff like printer and scanner, etc.
Day 7 of my #fs6daily is dedicated to my very cluttered workspace. Just because it doesn't get enough credit. It's where I get to do all my blogging, image editing, thinking etc after all!
I even had room to bring my desk upstairs. All my photo equipment and shipping/packaging too! Chile (the iguana) loves having me on the other side of his louvers. When he's hungry, he rakes his claws down the louvers at me.
Where all the work really happens.
I created this for an "Art-A-Day Challenge" I participated in early 2012. You can view the full challenge here.

This wall is our workspace. We have three tables (from Ikea) fashioned into a T shape so that the middle one can be used by either of us (currently, it is covered in my junk).
The wall shelves are actually bookcases that we stained (around $40 each at AC Moore) and decided to hang sideways when we moved into this house. They store office supplies & equipment, stickers and rub-ons (in the big jar), and stuff for my Etsy shop.
Conceptualizing and app idea at my desk with iPad and Moleskine.
