My workspace includes a number of public spaces in the International House (where I live), including the library, Great Hall, and cafe. The stimuli/ambience from these environments helps me focus without getting bogged down. In this case, I am doing work in the I House cafe--checking and adding events to Google calendar. My digital workspace typically includes Preview for reading documents, Word for reviewing and taking notes, Chrome, Finder, iTunes, and a programming text editor. The headphones seen plugged in are to cancel noise or play jams. A graph paper Moleskine with pen can be seen sitting aside my computer for more spontaneous or complex sketches and brainstorming.

This is my dining room and my sewing room. I love working here because the room gets lots of light and I get to be more sociable than if I was closed off in my own room. However, I do have to try and keep it neat, since I can't just close it off when company comes. :)

Side view of meditation space, currently being used as an outdoor office since the weather is lovely.

Cleaned up some wires. Put away my drum machine. Took down a small table I had, which was leading to more clutter.
