This is how I'm modeling my photography workflow process. It's a lot, but hopefully I can get in the habit and things will move quickly. Add notes and let me know what you think.
We had to figure out what we needed in our web redesign. We mapped out everything we use to get our work done then lined what was connected, what wasn't and needed to be and what wasn't and didn't need to be.

So, this is the first picture taken with my Nikon D40x.
I'm liking it a lot. It may be all plastic, but it's not heavy, which helps me keep it pretty stable.
The only issues I'm having with it so far is, Mac OS X does not recognize the RAW files from this camera, so I have the following choices:
a) Shoot in JPEG and be able to use Aperture
b) Shoot in RAW and use Nikon's Craptastic PictureProject
Currently, I'm still shooting in RAW, and using (or trying too) Picture Project. It has put a serious hamper on the workflow I had planned in my head.
I'm just hoping they'll be an update very soon from Apple, and not have to wait till Mac OS X 10.5 Leopard.
The Notre-Dame-d'Espérance church (Eglise du Suquet) is a Catholic parish church located in the town of Cannes, France.
It is dedicated to Notre-Dame on the Place de la Castre in the Suquet district, and has been classified as a historical monument since July 28, 1937 [Wikipedia.org]
I thought I'd share my post processing tips and tricks for those who have asked what do I do in terms of my workflow to get the most out of my photographs. I believe photography is a dual hobby. One must be disciplined in all the photographic aspects of creating a good photograph. But also one must be diligent in learning digital manipulation to get the most out of your files! I hope you find it at the very least entertaining if not informative! At the end of the tutorial there are a couple of PDFs, one of the post, and one of the article I wrote for a magazine. I hope one or both help you if you are struggling with your photography! And please give my Facebook photography page a LIKE if you like what you see!
