Ellos son los lavadores de Transmilenio, hombres y mujeres que cada noche limpian pisos, sillas, ventanas, llantas; reparan luces, avisos, sistemas y dejan todo listo para que a las cuatro de la mañana miles de buses del sistema de transporte masivo más grande de Colombia recorran miles de kilómetros de la agitada y congestionada Bogotá.

The employees accuse Walmart of continued unlawful retaliation against workers who speak out for change at the company. Some of the striking workers say that when they have come forward to call on Walmart to address issues with scheduling, wages, benefits and above all else, respect in the work place, Walmart has reacted by retaliating against them.

How many dam workers does it take to fix the shaft on the dam pump? About eight not including the cook. The workers are from Hanoi and quite friendly. As are all VIetnamese. So far.

These stone workers were sitting next to their piles of smashed rocks next to a busy road in Kathmandu. They basically smash rocks all day with hammers since it is less costly for the manufacturer than using a big machine.
You can easily spot these stone workers close to busy streets in Kathmandu, along rivers that provide good rocks and many other similar places in Nepal, India and other neighboring countries.
These fine gentlemen are portugueese workers which are working in the Karahnjukar hydro-electric project the middle of the Icelandic highlands.
Their shift is 12 hours long, and here they are, waiting for the bus to their camp after a hard days work.

I've been building on this small craft for more than six years. It has been wrecked by moves and children until I finally decided to finish it. I'm particularly pleased with the sliding mechanism in the center. It's held in place by an old M-Tron magnet and is really satisfying to slide back and forth.
