A tree located in the backyard of the BC Legislature commemorates all workers injured or killed in the workplace, and those who suffer from work-related illness or injury.
Along the way to tier cities like Shigatse, Gyantse and other townships, one meets alot of contruction workers like these, toiling to build embankments and paved roads.
Most were friendly enough to wave at the odd-intrusion of a tourist 4WD passing by.
It might have broken their monotony of work. At least it did mine of just looking at terrain for hours.

Workers are installing cables across the flood canal. According to the supervisor on location, this is to ease the work of cleaning up trashes from the river flow, because trashes are one of the factors in Jakarta's flooding.

Construction workers in Yueyang are primarily migrant workers from the surrounding countryside.
These men (and women) do not get paid very much, and they work very long and hard days. However, they appreciate the work that they find in the city that they did not have in the countryside.
Pray many construction workers will hear the Good News this year and that they will spread it to others.
During our visit at this plant we bumped in a mass rally for the workes of the factory. A seldome chance to capture some good shots of it during loud barking megaphones and orchestra music. Some people there were quiet confused with our appearance.

The Gardens at Wortley Hall, close to Sheffield have a long association with the British Labour movement. It was purchased and restored in 1950 by a co-operative foundation, and is now a hotel & conference centre, and is used by several trades unions. The building, which dates back to 1586 was significantly altered in the 1740s, and is Grade 2* listed.
Wortley Hall was the base for SALT 10 - a classic car tour for Cold-War era vehicles.

I found some construction workers doing whatever it is they do. I like the sense of motion in this shot.

Every day passes through this work site, group of workers encircle in the dormitory entrance see a film, has wanted to pat down. 1. to reduce focusing the time I to probably use above ISO1600 to be able to photograph. 2. the workers are not the Buddhism believers, by them was discovered that I will be punched, if will communicate ahead of time with them, has been short the natural feeling. Today I passed by once more this place, added bringing with the small numerical code the flashing light to pat one, departure calmly, what I was really the movie king!
