Workers remove chains used to secure a massive girder to the bed of a tractor trailor truck. Once the chains are off, crews will attach the concrete beam to cables on two huge cranes.
The busiest construction weekend yet saw crews tackle installation of girders and concrete deck panels at four overpasses along the State Route 520 corridor from Feb. 24-27, 2012. All lanes of the highway were closed so crews could move more than 4 million pounds of massive concrete girders for new lidded overpasses above the highway at Bellevue Way Northeast and 84th Avenue Northeast. Concrete deck panels were installed at Evergreen Point Road and 92nd Avenue Northeast during a chilly weekend that saw heavy rain, hailstorms and plummeting temperatures.

Hong Kong is the home of some 250,000 migrant workers. Most of them are coming from Indonesia and the Philippines. Every Sundays, they come out to meet friends and make calls to their families.

During the dry season workers employed in mining stones from the bed of the Goyain River at Jaflong, Bangladesh, live in temporary shelters like these. In the rainy season this area is underwater.
He is working on brick making factory. He is moving the caps of fire pothole with iron road. After that he is inserting the coals in pothole.
I was very lucky to catch this moment.
What I particularly love in this picture is the way the man on the left-hand part of this picture stares at his colleague on the left-hand side of the picture.
There's also this kind of symmetry I find very interesting: in the middle, two apparently friends smoking a cigarette together, surrounded by two other men who seem to be angry at each other, one staring in my direction while the other is staring at him.
Of course, this picture is not perfect, but I wish I could take such pictures more often !
