(ignore my creepy half-closed eyes in the top left.)
This weekend, workers from MTA New York City Transit replaced track panels at Newkirk Av on the B/Q Line. This photo shows a work train traveling with next panel for installation. Photo by Metropolitan Transportation Authority / Leonard Wiggins.
If I don't write down what I'm doing, I tend to get lost. And, it gives me an excuse to try out different pens.
I dressed at work for a few years pre-pandemic, but then lost my office when we were subject to a corporate buy-out. Since then I've worked from home and only went up to our office in Sydney a couple of times a year. One of those was for the Christmas party. This year I went up dressed. My closest colleagues have seen me dressed on Zoom but this was a first time for a lot of other people there.
The day went very well.
I’ve had this MOC sitting around for awhile now. No idea if I’m ever going to finish it. Running low on parts for it, so I may have to order more.
One evening after work I wrapped Marlon's cube, this included everything from the desk itself, chair, all the items on his desk, and the exterior walls.
Of course, my boss was thrilled of my fine work..
Best work prank ever.
Our 10yr old's build for the monthly LUG meeting. Theme: Christmas. Elves work station. The elves can move moving the lever on the right hand side. Elves move to give the effect of an assembly line making a toy aeroplane. Idea from JK BrickWorks. Modified colours and added some more Christmas Cheer in the form of presents and candy canes.

This sample canvas work belong to the Canvas Embroidery Classes - Level 1. We had to pick up amongst different imposed stitches, but colours were free. I used old bits of wool and threads, which was rather tricky, because matching the squares was not that easy after all...
...horses.
We only see them when they are on duty, but behind the scenes, they have daily routines and training that keeps them a valuable part of our city’s Police Force.”

Someone else's belongings are more interesting than your own. I found this glove next to the fireplace in my relative's house.

This is my 4' aluminum tree I brought into work to chip in for my share of the decorating. I found the ornaments at the Brass Armadillo antique store in Des Moines.
All i have to color correct photos with at work is Irfanview. I have to say that for FREE it is capable of doing most of what I need other than perhaps a good size-down alrorithm.
