I start work again today. Not really looking forward to it, but I know I will feel better once I am there.
Someone got roses ... and someone took pictures. February 2007. 105VR lens, handheld at 1/50th. VR was obviously working fine.
465. That's how many pieces of mail I processed today - whoa!
Added note: I should probably point out that only 110 of them were this size. 100 were in envelope sizes, and the remaining were two different smaller sizes of mailers.
Working on another sketch of Sabriena, the White Rose Witch of Wensleydale. Here she is with her Yorkshire Pudding cauldron concocting her witchy cheesy brew. It’s been suggested she should have a pet toad- hence toad in the hole. Any more ideas anyone? www.facebook.com/groups/960521703958757/?ref=share
I got settled into my new desk at work since I got the promotion I've been waiting for since November when I interviewed. I really love all the new space I have compared to my previous itty bitty desk I had. Everyone was making comments here & there about how girly it was & how I seemed to have moved in, haha.
The director of the annual Chalk Festival finishes up this piece on the fourth day. Robin VanLear and her helpers lay down a very large and ambitious piece each year which often takes more than the weekend to finish.
BNSF 6014 west has a nice collection of heavy duty MoW machinery in tow, including a ballast cleaner and track tampers. Chariton, IA 6/28/14.
Alyssa Dunlap is one of two local artists who have been commissioned to paint murals on the hangars at Albert Whitted Airport in downtown St. Pete. Each work represents the airports past, present and future.
The StreetScooter Work is an electric van developed and produced by Deutsche Post. These vans are built in Aachen, so these ones are probably brand new, just coming from the factory.
Part of the Little Dudes series, documenting the little dudes who live in my home.

A dilapidated but still kind of cute little shed at the abandoned mink ranch. I love the bendy wall and wonder if it will survive the winter.

Started off well loading my first delivery into the box truck with help from another guy at work. It was all downhill from then on.
putting the order neatly inside the truck and getting down for the next load, i saw the one guy helping me talking to our sales guy. next thing im on the pavement looking up at both of them from the ground.
my head , jaw ,neck ,and shoulder and soon after my right calf
started to join the pain train.
i guess on my way down body parts other than my feet found impact points like the metal bumper step and then frozen pavement.
They called for the ambulance .
Er was sad, with few but very busy personnel
and spent my work day in the hospital. i was discharged after 4;00 pm.
no broken bones was found. lucky me.
January 2 .. my leg is better so i can walk better, sore to the touch
but clearly my shoulder isn't coming back to order
for a while and follow up to see what damage other than bone
is done.
the other suck part is i hit my head on something a slight ringing in the right ear, is annoying,
after yesterdays shower i found a cut on the left side of my head.
Since being able to sleep in my own bed i discovered i have a sever bout with dizziness that merely lasts five seconds .
but its concerning as ive never experienced this kind of thing
getting to sit upright afterward the dizzyness is less severe and lasts shorter in duration.
So, as of today, the shoulder pain and dizziness is all that i still have and my left middle finger ring finger and pinky is less numb but the joints don't hurt as they did either..
my wife is setting me up with a doctor to see what tendon and muscle damage had been done to my shoulder.
