Made yarn - 2 ply - 60,8 meters

Maple shaft, Lignum Vitae arms.

8 cm long - cross 5,5 cm.

Yarn brought back as a gift from the UK. Each skein was marked as costing £9 each. Not cheap. It's great-quality wool. Same line; both have red flecks. They deserve to be knitted together - I just have to figure out how.

Tequila Sunrise colourway. Super fine, 70% Superwash wool, 30% nylon. Giving this a try.

a self-striping worsted 2-ply with white mill ends, hand-dyed red stripes, natural grey wool, and black alpaca. There are bits of pink mohair for the surprise.

I'm trying to shake the image in my mind that this yarn suggests a road accident.

For a Finnish customer, hence the Finnish names!

Noro kureyon. Had an afternoon of darning in lots of ends and this was the result.

They fit feet with about a women's 8-9 shoe size. They would make a great gift!

Gorgeous BFL(wool)/Silk fibre I spun. Wonderful to work with and I'm reasonably happy with the result. I'm more consistant now than when I did this but I don't mind the varied look.

A new favorite pattern of mine. Great fit, and goes together in about 1 hr.

I embroidered the skirt with my dahlia design in two shades of gray. Although in this photo it looks like one shade.

It does look a little puckery around the embroidery which makes me ANGRY so I'm hoping it will soften up if I dry clean it. (It is wool so I can't wash it on my own.)

Wool's arrived, I can start! Any suggestions for more colours?

Cuánto se agradece un regalo inesperado y, todavía más, si es de lana y ha llegado por fin el frío!

a total of 80 yards, just under 6oz of Cotswold wool. I was given this wool as a gift before I had ever even entertained the notion of spinning. I had started spinning it months ago and finally got back to it and finished it this weekend.

it was on 50% clearance at one of the local craft stores. mostly olive, but they call it bronzed green (53). I am thinking about Bonne Marie Burns cerisara w/ short sleeves.
