Austin...is a clown. :) I finally got around to starting my Wolverine. While I was in Orlando today, he took some "liberties" with the Flak and Wolverine. :) I can't decide how I want to do the turret, and I have not built something to carry the Flak with. So Austin decided to meet somewhere in the middle! :) CLOWN!! The little black bar sticking out the side is designed to help a boy at the hospital make the Flav's guns go up and down. He can't grab on to really small stuff, so I left the end sticking out so he could move the barrels. :)

This is Georg Alexander or "Goggi" as Wolverine from the X-Men comics. Wolverine has always been one of my favorites so there was never any doubt about him being in the series and I thought Goggi was perfect for the role. He certainly got into character for this photoshoot, grew his hair and beard long for weeks before.
Makeup/bodypaint by Henný and Eva Hrönn. I took the photo of Rut but Hallmar "Mari" did all the post processing on this image.

Armed with powerful jaws, sharp claws, and a thick hide, the wolverine is remarkably strong for its size. Wolverines have been known to harass and attempt to intimidate wolves, cougars and bears. It has killed prey as large as moose and there is at least one published account of a 27-pound wolverine's attempt to steal a kill from an adult black bear.
Juveniles are more vulnerable; infants (kits) have been known on occasion to be taken by predatory birds such as eagles.
Wolverine Creek makes its way into Big River Lakes with a flourish. Bear watching, salmon fishing and kayaking in the remote wilderness of Alaska - count me among the most fortunate!

Finally, I've completed the m10 wolverine turret (which by the way was a pain in the ass) but it was totally worth it.
Something just went right yesterday, painted this next to Neyec.... and a right ol good day was had, untill i got called Mat Cardel
Unfortunately it'll be awhile till my next visit.

Got my Marvel Legends Apocalypse wave Psylocke yesterday and Wolverine today and thought I'd share some pics and impressions.
First up is Wolverine. He's a short little figure which is perfect and he looks pretty stocky to me. He's pretty much the exact same mold as Brown Costume Wolverine but with a different head and different arms. He comes with two sets of hands. Clenched with claws out (claws are removable) and clenched with claws retracted. He also comes with the back tubes for Apocalypse.
I know there were some people that wanted his colors to be a bit more lemon yellow but the color they've gone with is great. He color matches Jim Lee Cyclops really well, this is the best Wolverine Hasbro has done I think. Really glad I got him.

Some faces look better in a small scale. Magnified Wolverine feels unnatural, though I admit that it's a pleasure to see all the details of his face so clearly (apart from the fact that I still don't know how to use my camera, the light and all the other things that need to be mastered in order to take good photos)

An early morning departure for five Guelph Photography Guild members provided some fantastic shooting time at the Muskoka Wildlife Centre. Dale and Keith were great hosts.
Wolverine River, near Tumbler Ridge, British Columbia. This was taken on the day after most of the leaves blew down. Tumbler Ridge is known for being a windy area and after the leaves start turning, it doesn't take long for the trees to be blown bare.
A trout jumped right when I was taking this photo... too bad I was out taking photos and not fishing.
