Wolverine is a solitary and rare animal which is always on the move. Its appearance resembles that of a small bear with a long tail. In Europe, Wolverines are only found in the northern habitats of Finland, Sweden, Norway and Russia. There are less than 400 Wolverines in Finland with individuals crossing over Russian border frequently.

I personally am not a big fan of commercial photography hides but in order to watch and photograph, or even see any of Finland's large predators nowadays, these commercial hides offer the best change. Wolverines, wolves and brown bears are baited in front of the viewing hides with food, but there's still no guarantees for any animal encounters. We were lucky and had excellent three nights in the hides with many wild animals showing up, sometimes almost too close!

When the Marvel sets will be available on April 2012 my sentinel will be ready to fight Wolverine... or will be totally destroyed ;D

Sentinel :

What are you, little thing?

Logan:

You'll see soon.

The wolverine is noted for its strength, cunning, fearlessness, and voracity. It Is known for its ability to face down and fight larger predators that are more than twice its size. Wolverines are heavy built, flipping over rocks and tree stumps seemingly effortlessly.

Wolverine has been one of my favorite comic book characters for about as long as I can remember. He and the X-Men have provided many hours of entertainment and great stories over the years.

I used a Brick Affliction jacket here (slightly modified) and sharpened the claws to get the look I wanted.

I went for a walk today and took 1 minifigure with me. The purpose of the walk was not to take a photo of a toy, rather a waterfall but I seem to have misplaced my 77mm ND...

I didn't like this at first but over the 20 minutes of editing it grew on me. It also gave me an excuse to finally use my Wolverine font.

A one-eyed wolverine.

Wolverines are the largest land-dwelling member of the weasel family. The scientific name is Gulo gulo which is Latin for Glutton; an alternative name for it. They have a reputation for ferocity and strength out of proportion to their size, being capable of taking on animals much larger than themselves. Prey as large as Reindeer are taken, but smaller mammals such as squirrels and lemmings are more typical. Wolverines are generally rare and elusive, wandering over massive home ranges. This was photographed in the wild in Finland where the population is estimated at 155 to 170.

I was trying to portray the holographic cover with these two shots. The idea was to flick between one and the other to get a similar feel to the hologram.

There are a few "tells" like the tubes in the chest, but on the whole it turned out like I imagined.

I haven't read the Marvel Noir comics, but here is my own imagination of Wolverine as a 1930's super hero

I think this one went pretty well (except I noticed now I made the mouth a bit to big) my English teacher laminated the drawing I did of wolverine and put it up over his desk. so anyway I hope you all like it👍👍

Visit to Highland Wildlife Park. I'm in two minds about these kind of parks. They are, however, a vast improvement on the old zoo types. Wolverine - largest members of the weasel family, had a good size enclosure but did seem to perform stereotypic zoo behaviour of repetitive circling round. There appeared to be frequent eye contact from these, which was also a bit unsettling, tho apparently their eyesight is poor. According to National Geographic, these need a lot of room to roam and may travel 15 miles a day searching for food. However, much tho I felt sorry for these, more than the other animals, since they seemed so restless, I found them fascinating, having only previously seen them on TV. Sometimes my 300mm prime lens was too close and some of these images are perhaps too "in your face"!
