Here he is: Jack 'Logan' Howlett.

I've always been a huge fan of Wolverine - as a kid, watching X-Men: The Animated Series and playing with the toys.

As such, I really wanted to add a Wolverine to my collection, specifically in the format of the classic yellow and blue. I wavered slightly from his appearance in X-Men: TAS, going for a slightly more modern suit.

This is obviously the first figure I've made with my casted muscular torso and arms sculpt, paired up with the shoulder pads from a KO Chrome Claw figure, some hands from Leonardo's excellent Dead Space 2 suit, some custom made claws and a TLG Wolverine helmet which I widened and contoured at the sides of the mouth.

I'm really happy with how this figure turned out, I hope you guys like it too!

We recently travelled to Churchill, Manitoba, Canada to experience Polar Bears.

While on our trip, we experienced this wonderful Wolverine. It's been 57 years since I last had a fleeting glance at a Wolverine in the Lodge Pole Pine forest surrounding Crater Lake, in central Oregon. That was not a picture taking event and it was over almost before it began.

However, on our trip to Churchill, we were actually able to be within 50 feet (or so) from this wonderful Wolverine. It saw us. It saw that we were between it and where it wanted to be. It walked back and forth, looking at us, and then it disappeared behind a mound of dirt, from which it did not reappear, so we went back to looking for Polar Bears.

A twice in a lifetime experience for me...and this time, I had a camera to capture the wonderful event.

What an incredible treat!!!

Two Wolverines 'playing'. Stunning animals with incredible claws and seem to go everywhere at a loping gallop. Just read a book on these, one was seen tackling a 900m ED icy north face of a mountain that has seen few human ascents .. in 20 mins!, right to the top, then off over the other side ... bravo!!

Wolverine in the 80's fashion (my favorite costume). It was the time when in France it was still called Serval and I was reading the adventures of the Xmen in the pages of Special Strange of the Lug editions.

The view from an early spring hike up Wolverine Peak outside of Anchorage, Alaska.

I had the idea today. At first I wanted to use this part for the fingers, but on LDD we cannot connect the claws directly on it...

Wolverine has been one of my favorite comic book characters for about as long as I can remember. He and the X-Men have provided many hours of entertainment and great stories over the years.

I used a Brick Affliction jacket here (slightly modified) and sharpened the claws to get the look I wanted.

New Wolverine figure, new nice bright blue armor... I had to bring them together to make something, and this is what I came up with. Let me know what you think!

Go if you want to play with, it will be in Bordeaux for fans of bricks soon ...

I've been wanting to build a new Wolverine figure that would be in better proportion to the "claws" that I have. This is one of a small handful that I've built in this scale and the first to feature eyebrows and more realistic eyes. So, what do you think?
