A look at portion of the course that becomes two way at the Wolverine 200 in 1989.
The Wolverine 200 is a 24 hour "bicyle marathon" in which the participants try to ride the most number of miles. Goals are set at 25, 50 , 100 or 200 (of course) miles. Up until the mid 1990s, the Wolverine 200 used to draw more than 2,000 participants with thousands more camping in support. The now defunct Detroit Grand Prix put serious limitations on the course and particpation has shrank to 400-500 people a year.

2013-10-19: Caught the wolverine looking solemn after a massive, heavy rain storm came over the Henson Robinson Zoo. All I could do is hide under a tree which didn't provide much cover and hunch over the camera gear in hopes it would be enough to protect it from the downpour. Guess the wolverine wasn't too happy with the rain either.

all my shots of the wolverine are mildly soft, primarily because i had to shoot through glass but also because of his constant motion. i could hardly compose, focus, and shoot before he was gone again.

The two pictures are of a T-shirt I use to wear years ago. I stopped wearing it because I did not want it to fade and fall apart like you would see in the other pictures bottom arm.
