A black wolverine running, Parc animalier de Sainte-Croix, France
The wolverine, also referred to as the glutton, carcajou, skunk bear, or quickhatch (from East Cree, kwiihkwahaacheew), is the largest land-dwelling species of the family Mustelidae.
It is a stocky and muscular carnivore, more closely resembling a small bear than other mustelids. It has a reputation for ferocity and strength out of proportion to its size, with the documented ability to kill prey many times larger than itself.
The wolverine is found primarily in remote reaches of the Northern boreal forests and subarctic and alpine tundra of the Northern Hemisphere, with the greatest numbers in Northern Canada, the American state of Alaska, the mainland Nordic countries of Europe, and throughout western Russia and Siberia.
Wolverine has and probably always will be my favorite X-Men and I've been wanting to make this figure for a while.
Idk what version of his suit he's based off of, this is just my favorite costume and I'm very happy with how this figure looks. :D
Let me know what you think of the figure and let me know what character you'd like me to make next. :D

Our excursion Budd cars are stashed in the siding at Wolverine, B.C., 48.4 miles east of Wakely, for a meet with this westbound loaded coal train. We had a long wait, so most passengers grabbed their box lunches and scattered to the hills to find their photo spots. Eventually, EMD GF6Cs 6001 and 6002 emerge from the Wolverine Tunnel. GF6Cs 6004 and 6007 are pushing behind the CN caboose–––photo by Joe McMillan with others.

A juvenile wolverine appears in the taiga forest in Finland, searching for its next meal.
These tough animals are solitary, and they need a lot of room to roam. Individual wolverines may travel 15 miles in a day in search of food. Because of these habitat requirements, wolverines frequent remote boreal forests, taiga, and tundra in the northern latitudes of Europe, Asia, and North America.
I have just returned home after spending 3 weeks working in Finland once again. This was my 2nd year working on this long-term project, and was certainly the most challenging so far due to the weather and erratic Bear movements, nevertheless, I’ve tried my best to create something slightly different to the crowds of other photographers visiting this wonderful country.
This summer I spent most my time working in the forest, with the aim of showing both Bears and wolverines among their natural habitat through the use of wide angle lenses. This was a risky move and as a result, I missed many images, but the idea of creating a unique image was worth it.
The Wolverine is an extremely elusive predator with only around 150 individuals in the whole of Finland, therefore I was extremely pleased to capture this apex predator on my wide angle set-up (triggered via a wireless remote release from the hide).

New cat in the yard. Dubbed her "Psycho Kitty". She growls at everything. If she were a super hero she would be "Wolverine" from X-Men while he was still feral and untrusting.
PLEASE COMMENT IF YOU FAVE!
My entry to week 2 of Scott Blankfield contest!
Wolverine:
I came up with the idea to make a jacketed version!
His head is from my Logan fig, just repainted. The torso is from that fig too, also repainted.
The legs are fully custom as well.
I made the jacket from paper and then painted that and the arms in my own color. The jacket has "fur" on the collar part, which was imitated using felt.
The cigarette is made of a toothpick with a little bit of cotton ball used for smoke.
Claws are a paperclip with painted detail.
I used the materials pretty simply but I like how it looks.
Tell me what you think!
