A woman posed in close with him before I took this shot. When she stepped away, she enthused that he even smelled like cigars. He pointed out that he was smoking one…
During the winter months, Amtrak's Wolverine 350, and its counterpart 355, use superliner coaches and both locomotives are placed up front, giving the train a much different look. P42DC 30 leads the train today passing the campus of Western Michigan University in Kalamazoo.
I've never been a huge fan of either character. But then I've always been more of a DC kinda guy. But seeing the Hulk fuck up Wolverine like this makes me smile. Fuck you claw boy, fuck you and your leather fucking pants.
"Wolverine Blues" is a track by Jelly Roll Morton recorded in 1927.
Two years ago I got my first iPhone and shortly afterwards I downloaded the Hipstamatic app. Since then I've been snapping odd things (mainly the ordinary and banal) that have caught my eye. There's not a great deal of artistic merit, they are just a bit of fun
These images have accumulated over the period and I've done nothing with them, until now.
This is the third one - I'll continue adding Hipstamatic images occasionally, either from my archive or as I take them.

Wolverine is the first creation of the serie I would like to build in version miniland scale: "the Uncanny X-men" from the Chris Claremont, John Byrne and Terry Austin time (+- 1980). Colossus, Storm and Nightcrawler are already under construction; then I'll add Cyclop, Phoenix and prof. Xavier. So this'll take a while... See you here in a few months for the next step and thanks for the visit.
One of the wolverine at the in the Nordiska Djur part of Skansen, Stockholm. It took us a long time to spot, sleeping in some hole in the ground, but when the zoo responsible went to give some raw meat, it quickly got up running around for the found. Funny animal indeed.
The wolverine is the largest land-dwelling species of the weasel family. It lives in northern parts of Alaska, Scandinavia, Siberia etc. It's a carnivorous animal but can also eat plants.
Adults are the size of a medium-sized dog, but they are strong animals. They are bold and do not hesitate to kill large prey (like a moose) or to try and steal prey from other bigger predators.
They don't have natural predators but humans, but might suffer from fights with bears (I heard a 500-pound bear can easily crush a 30-pound wolverine :o) )
