This type of elemental is nearly its own tidal wave, easily capable of drowning people within its own body. And you can't escape this tsunami by going inland!

Darlord of Borca, sheer malice holds him back from death.

Another supernatural messenger of Death, the Vanth psychopomps devour the unliving.

Goblins fear some dogs, ride others, and eat the rest.

Powerful and fiery, red dragons are some of the most well-known of their kind.

LOOK OUT! Here he comes!

A frightening eldritch beholderkin.

These monsters are surprisingly intelligent, considering their bestial appearance. They disguise themselves as stalagmites and other rock formations, only to lash out at their prey with powerful tentacles.

Despite their breath weapons, dragons are not particularly elemental creatures. Catastrophic Dragons, however, are different.

Volcanic Dragons are a type of Catastrophic Dragon, and almost seem to be made of the very lava they spew. Huge, blazing, and powerful, these creatures leave charred ashes in their wake wherever they go. Keep in mind, it is very hard to slay a dragon if its body can melt your sword.

After a decades long search, I finally have a copy of the original D&D rules. Until now, I've only had a copy of the Blackmoor booklet. In June when I learned this set was being released, I preordered two copies from Amazon, thinking I'd receive them in November. I've never received even one copy from Amazon, and at this point I suspect I won't. They falsely claimed the release was pushed out until last week, at which point it moved to being "out of stock". After doing some research, it appears that stores can't order more copies, so when they're out, they're out. This was one of the last two sets that my FLGS had (they received their copies in November when it was supposed to be released). Wizards of the Coast definitely did a great job putting this set together.

Also known as Deep Dragons, these sinuous, serpentine draconic beings live deep under the earth, and are both loved and feared by the Drow. It's a miracle that their wings still function, and yet they do. Purple dragons breathe a sort of corrosive, acidic gas.

One of the most powerful demon lords, Graz'zt specializes in subtlety and seduction, though when force is necessary, he has his massive sword - the Wave of Sorrow.

Deradnu, commander of the armies of Baphomet, has leveraged his half-fiend lineage into strength.

The incomprehensible, mad gods of the outer parts of the universe are served by these strange, bloated, blind things. They continually dance around the great Azathoth, playing insane melodies to appease the Blind Idiot God. Theyalso perform the terrifying will of their masters throughout the cosmos, often "assisting" ignorant cultists in serving the will of the Outer Gods.

Guardians of the flow of time, Time Dragons can manipulate the fourth dimension with their breath!

Using the body of a dragon as a weapon, an Elder Brain can now command its Illithid army more directly!

These draconian creatures are more at home in the rivers than the air!

Your subconscious psyche has been reshaped by the power of this dragon!

He holds a lot of responsibility for his clan, like not letting out the secret that they are all cold-blooded.

The dead hear his voice, and answer his summons.

The enigmatic leaders of the Yugoloths have more power than they seem. The mercenary armies they command could turn the tide of the Blood War!

Among the first animals domesticated... on the world of Triaxia, which is distinct from the world of Golarion, which is where Pathfinder is set - Wollipeds are fuzzy beasts of burden!

The only thing worse than an orc is an orc on fire.

The Barbazu devils, named for the snakelike growths on their chins, serve as shock troops in the Infernal Legion.

Queen Vlaakith CLVII, The Lich Queen, is the ruler of all Githyanki (green-skinned D&D monks). She took over after the disappearance of the original Gith, is an undead Lich monster, forged the pact between Githyanki and Red Dragons, and is the entire reason why the race is seen as evil. Vlaakith is BAD NEWS, but she runs her race well fromt he city of Tu'narath.

We all know how hard liches are to kill. Now multiply that byt he power she gains from being a nearly-worshipped absolute monarch over an entire species! In a fight between Vlaakith and Lady Vol...

Fueled by the necrotic energies of death, the Death Giants are horrifying denizens of the underworld!

This rocky creature can swim through the earth like water!

Once upon a time, he was human. Now, he's a berserk monster whose only desire is to kill, kill, kill!

The Cornugon devils wield spiked chains as symbols of tyranny!

Mobile commanders in the Blood War, they direct armies and relay orders!

Horned Devils do not have terribly prominent horns, but they are devils! The original Horned Devil was soon split into Cornugons and Malebranches, which became "war Devils" (the only real difference was that they had pitchforks). Sometimes, they are blended together again, since the chain vs. trident difference isn't really enough for a new species.

Always plotting, always scheming.

It's an orc thing. You wouldn't understand.

Arkhan's bodyguard and top enforcer, Torogar Ironfist is pure muscle with the ferocity to match!

They evolve from ordinary skeletons and zombies. They are intelligent. Their claws can spear you from meters away. Boneclaws are to be feared.

The Troll Slasher miniature is a great depiction of Troll's 3.5-Edition artwork. The nose might not be very long, but it certainly checks all the boxes.

Demonic horrors bred by Yeenoghu, Shoosuvas are often gifted to his Gnoll servants. Their unending hunger is as ravenous as the fire that burns in their bellies.

Hard to believe this is the first Firbolg miniature in a line that's been going on since 2003.

When a Troll is infused with necromantic energy, it reverses its regeneration aura - now causing constant harm to any life nearby.

Baxar's favorite creation, her mind is as twisted as the disparate parts of her stitched-together body.

These creatures of the Earth element take on fearsome forms, and are easily mistaken for statues.

Powerful, deadly, intelligent servants of Baphomet.

Dreamblade had a total of three evil clowns. One had a chainsaw, one was a jack-in-the-box, and one had a pole up his posterior.

This little guy had fairly low stats, but one awesome ability: During the spawn phase, you could make all the "outside" squares rotate like a conveyor belt, which just chaosed up the game. The rules text for this took up all his base space, so the poor guy doesn't have a quote.
