Along with tree seeds, walnuts are a treat for red squirrels. In spring, when they have young and therefore a greater need for protein, they pick up birds' eggs from their nests.
I took advantage of today's sunny and reasonably warm day to photograph flowers. In the garden in front of the house, azaleas are just blooming. In various colors.

This is the so-called forge . Woodpeckers attach the pine cone and eat the seeds :)
For the first time after a long illness, I went on a trip outside the city. I was lucky, there were a few sunny hours.
Even before the first rays of sunlight emerged from behind the trees, the fog was spreading, like milk. Visibility was limited to a dozen metres or so. Then, the sun made the contours of the trees and reeds growing on the river bank quickly appear. The view was amazing: the Lower Bug River Valley. Mazovia.
