Plain weave: Each weft wire passes over one and under one warp wire, and each warp wire passes over one and under one weft wire, every weft wire have and warp wire the same diameter.
Characteristics: square aperture ,high flow through , relative high open area, as result less pressure drop during filtration suitable for all kinds of filtration up to 63 micron.
Plain Dutch weave: woven as a plain weave. Each warp wire and each weft wire passes over and under the next adjacent complementary wire, as in normal Plain Weave, except the warp wires are larger in diameter than the weft wires. This allows a greater mesh count in the weft direction.
Characteristics:"zero"--aperture, more solid than square or rectangular mesh, relative high open area, suitable for all kinds of filtration.

I always thought the telephone pole in my back yard had way too many wires coming off of it. They do form interesting angles though.

Usually, I work hard to eliminate overhewd wires from my photos, often resorting to Photoshop to remove them when they interfere with what I am interested in showing. This is especially so when I am working on architectural shots.
We were visiting Clarksburg, ON on Thursday and I noticed all the wires overhead which caught my interest, especially with the dark blue sky and clouds behind them. So I decised to focus on them and see what I could do, intentionally putting them into the frame.
Now I am trying to figure out if they work best in colour or B&W. I can't say I have a real preference, although I am leaning towards the B&W images.
There are four shots in this series I would value your opinion and any critique on how the shots could have been improved.
Emerald rounds and Spring green Peridot chips form the leaves of this copper wire tree. A 2 inch silver frame acts like a little window out on the world, displaying this mini diorama. Wrapped around the frame are a row of moss agate beads, suggesting a grassy lawn, clear glass beads, representing the fresh afternoon air, and pale amazonite beads leading up to light blue and then darker blue glass suggest a cloudless summer sky. The pendant dangles from the center of a 27inch dazzling silver chain, joined by a silver rose toggle to continue the nature theme. This gorgeous handmade piece is truely one of a kind.
