I liked Laos very much for its sculpture. That may sound odd to anyone who has actually been there and seen the bizarre sculptures all wire frames surrounded by chipped and aged plaster. But honestly, there is such a lot of character to the work out there and people are very happy to make something and display it in all its flawed glory, not like here where anything less than perfect is hidden in a basement or trashed.
This fun handmade bracelet features wire wrapped orange dyed quartz beads. The clasp is handmade and features a tortoise colored czech glass bead. The bracelet is approximately 7.5 inches long and would be great for autumn fashions.

This is a freeform sterling silver wire and bead necklace. I made a wire form, then used 28 g wire to wirte on pearl, garnet, crystals, and seed beads. The pendant is small only about 1" X 2"
At Kotu bridge, Gambia. Apparently no "wire tail" but couldn't identify it as any other swallow/swift/martin type bird in our "Birds of Senegal and The Gambia" Helm Field Guide.
