A few recent Cuckoo photos from the Angus Glens (including some interaction with Meadow Pipits whose nests they lay eggs in).
the scratch hurts almost as much as the barbed wire.. but a friend pointed out that it goes with the mood of the picture..
now im not sure whether i like it or not..

made for an "Other than paper" atc swap and inspired by a wire atc received from Farstarr a year or two ago :)
rusted steel wire, copper wire, metallic bits and bobs and a teeny tiny star-shaped mirror
Construction made from zinc and copper sheets and bronze wire.The joints are made with solderwire by the use of soldering iron.
The coloring is made with a combination of emulsion paint mixed with glues ,and dust colors.
The colors are heated during painting , with a hot air gun in order to dry fast .
The whole construction is protected with a waterbased enamel.
The ship stands on the hole of a plexiglass base.

This is made of wire and hangs in my kitchen. This is a pot holder hanging on it now but normally I have a towel on either side.
