Our Daily Challenge: Diagonal
When wire wool spinning it helps if you can keep out the rain. Under a train bridge in Keighley, West Yorkshire.
This is made entirely in photoshop with a brush, layers, and layer modes. You may see the net effect best at the large and original resolutions.
Ahh missing home.. this is one of the old pictures I took when I was there in December, coming back from visiting my friends... Cannot wait for the easter break!

I took an extra turn or two around the boss for a little extra wire so I can splice in a pair of Velo Lumino's micro banana plugs.

It was bought by American owners, the Leggett and Pratt group, and in 2009 the business was closed and placed in receivership. The site was cleared for housing development.

Seen up close, something as simple as a piece of wire seems to lose its beginning and its end. Each curve leads to the next, repeating the same rhythm of light and shadow, as if the spiral could continue forever.
A small everyday object transformed by macro photography into an abstract path wired to infinity.
