Frozen flooded parkland

Kingston Lacy estate

Es gibt ihn doch noch, den Schnee...:-)

On a cool January night on the Clent hills.

The Fox River reflects snow covered trees on the southwestern edge of the White River Marsh State Wildlife Area, Town of Saint Marie between Berlin and Princeton, Green Lake County, Wisconsin.

Many thanks to all for the attention and support!

The road crews have done a fantastic job scraping the snow off of our roads and cutting the sides back. Alaskans always view this as a sign that spring may be just around the corner. Fingers crossed.

I shot this view yesterday, of the Wrangle Mountains from the Glenn Highway, looking east. The prominent mountain in the distance is "Mount Drum".

A very nice farm situated a bit over the fjord is surrounded by the frosty fog. Blue sky and sun is barely above it.

or NightMare, lol 😁

Taken during a wonderful cross-country skiing trip in Langåskjølen nature reserve in Trondheim, Norway.

Aveva quasi smesso di nevicare. La sera era nitida come un disegno a carboncino.

Aiko and me off hiking, seeing that fog covered the fjord I figured that it was smartest to walk the opposite way.

So we did.

And this is what we found.

I was speechless to put it mildly.

And I'm sorry if someone thinks I'm bragging 😂

Well I am a bit, I must admit 😄

“Color is descriptive. Black and white is interpretive.” - Eliot’s Erwith

This is another attempt to do a black and white image. The wonderful play of light and shadow on the snowy hill seemed to lend itself to a monochrome edit. Happy Monochrome Monday!

Hoar frost coats everything and continues to build each day. We are fully immersed in a winter wonderland, complete with the below zero temperatures that plaque us twenty-four hours a day. It is beautiful to view from the cozy interior of our cabin - but venturing out is a very chilly experience.

How can we not

Yes

its spring

at least the time of the year says so

but never the less

its full winter out here

and it snowed today too

I never get grumpy because of what kind of weather we have

I can't do anything about the weather

I can only do something with my attitud towards it.

So here I am, cherishing the moment, because it is actually quite lovely out there

For hidden love

The taste of the fruits

Were they forbidden

Only the ones that tasted the fruits know

Would they be tasted again

You could wonder

Wonder

Till the day you die

At least you got to taste them

You can rest in that too

I'm so happy my neighbors isn't on Flickr, lol 😂😂😂

There is a narrow road near Mißlareuth, which is particularly affected by snowdrifts in winter.

Days are pretty short now. The sun peeked over the mountains at 10:01 this morning, and will set at 3:12 PM this afternoon. It was exactly 1:15 PM today that I captured this image from my backyard.

We are now enjoying the pastel colored skies of winter - as well as the beautiful blue's that spread across the Alaskan landscape.

Only six more days until the shortest day of the year - and then the sun will begin it's long trek back to the "Land of the Mid-night Sun".

A crisp and beautiful winter day in Arrowhead Provincial Park, Ontario.

The title sums up the moment well, the morning light was beautiful, the snowy landscape enchanting, but wow was it cold, added to the swirling high winds, it made for a challenging capture, but I'm glad I made the effort.

Roegwold is a artificial naturereserve. Farms and wetlands make this landscape.

Serenity ist eine weiter entwickeltere Rasse als die D`ni, die vor 22 Millionen Jahren verschwanden.

Overnight snowfall over the Eryri mountains and on shore of llyn padarn by the lone tree.

I thought I'd go out early to capture the snow along the River Don riverside path but looked like others had the same idea judging by the amount of footprints.

The birds mystify me . . . they seem to have a built in watch mechanism that tells them it's time to eat as much as possible, before heading to their homes for the night.

I find it fascinating.

Pollution lights can be pretty cool

We were hiking in the forest and it was about to turn dark and then we came to this nice opening in the forest and this light appeared, it was so beautiful

Auf der Suche nach Gras !

We've got a real Winter with snow and a bit coldness, I love it !!!

Thanks to all Flickr friends for visiting !

Have a Grand week !

In North Dakota right now, just taking a 30 minute break. Took this picture an hour or so ago in Minnesota around mile marker 90 off I-94 westbound. Heading to Portland Oregon for a Monday delivery. About 8 degrees F, but probably gonna get colder before it gets warmer as I get further West.

"Home"

As long as your parents live I guess you will always have two homes, aren't we lucky ❤

So now I'm home in my 2. home, my forever home ❤❤

Traveling is nice in many ways, as well as it is exhausting in many ways 😆

I'm always happy when I come home-home😁
