A winter tree stands alone by a fence while a cold winter sun shines down on the white snow beyond.

A lovely place to rest and catch some winter rays.

Oh, yes, the winter as it should be finally came! So much snow I was afraid I got stuck in it:-), the sunshine that I adore, the temperature anybody feels comfortable. Just a perfect winter day! How can't I sing a song when it's so wonderful around...

Winter and snow go hand in hand. One of the glorious 4 seasons. The smell of roasted nuts on fires, hot chocolate, Christmas baking, all part of the wonderful winter months. This little photo reminded me of where one could go to warm up on a ski day... but if it was coffee or hot choccie.. I would be adding baileys too *winks*

Brutally cold day yesterday, even in the afternoon, but the fresh snow helped provide a pretty winter landscape. (Always pretty to find a red barn surrounded by a layer of white snow!)
