We had unexpected visitors on the lawn today. They were fun to watch. You can see that we need rain. Won't be long 'til our rainy season begins though.
a time of thinking back, coffee by the window (at least for a moment), nostalgia, cosy socks, self reflection, tea and inner warmth, and the most comfortable bed

a summer sun retreats into the horizon
…...,,and settle's for a new day ……...
Not a winter sun..
……. it fights with a vengeance
and is gone in seconds ….
Which kingdom is yours?
does it blow hot and cold
instil voices in your soul
give meaning to the whole?
we're all living under one roof
for in our circinate human world
we forgot to evolve with technology
now hearts retract our psychology
of life, love, and the surviving nest
our hopeless habits of stereotyping
and mind-boggling circumvention
add the ultimate twist of invention
a concoction of storytelling
rises with the morning Sun;
every tree is a citadel of history
recorded by the natural mystery
if time is yearned for in it's veneration
then nature too should be respected
wholly giving is the sense of purpose
truly unforgivable is our arrogance so ambiguous
we need tread more carefully
ascend the life of realistic aspiration
and revel in the forgotten glory of nature;
the life less known is best known for perfect contemperature.

===A picture for all my friends and visitors, in gratitude of your kindness!!===
Woke up to snow blizzards this morning & this was the view from my window. I wish someone would let the Big Man upstairs know that it's supposed to be Spring!
Enjoy a lovely weekend everyone!

I took this photo during a walk around the city streets in Holguin.
I was just walking along & saw this little cat in a government office & called to it.My Cuban friends just laughed at me & said that I could never get close to it.To their surprise I was able to get close & pet it, I always keep extra treats in my pocket & the cat was just so friendly towards me !
I proved them wrong!
I should be known as "The Cuban Cat Whisperer"!
Please enjoy the photo & view(L)

Through the crumbled window of the old castle, the world below still breathes in silence. Morning light drifts over the Moselle — a quiet dialogue between time and stone.

Another fine sunset aloft as we zip into the night above Western Austria's Karwendel Alps... quite a bit of snow out there, despite it being April!

The window to the world
open to view
yet closed as it undergoes
a grilling of surgical kind
in the foregoing of tender throes
beleaguered in numbness
nothing left to decry
where art thou Gemütlichkeit
haha, there is no differentiation
as afternoon sets wholly tonight
it's left to the inner self in flight
the indigestible one that hovers above
it's principles forever intact
a constant reminder of life
from start to a never-ending abstract.

The ashes from the volcano under Eyjafjallajökull in Iceland is spreading all over Northern Europe. This is the sight I saw from my window this afternoon!
I don't know if this is acutally caused by the ashes, but it was strangely beautiful.
I'm never sure what these circles are that can be seen from the air. They have various patterns and some may be crop circles, but others appear to have some sort of substance within that could be other material.
An aerial view after leaving Las Vegas, NV, somewhere in the desert area.
Alaska Airlines flight 54 (Boeing 737-890), from Portland (PDX) to Newark (EWR). This was one of the magical scenes I saw on my way home from visiting my elder daughter.
i got a quick look that lasted about
15 minutes as the sun set
it could be the best sky for me this year

The tall palm tree in the photo on the left fell (literally) victim to Hurricane Irma's winds. Thankfully, it did not harm anyone or demolish any structures when it fell. We are grateful that these other trees and structures (in the photo on the right) were spared but we will miss that palm.
Our club gained access to the Winter Gardens which has money from the lottery fund and is about to be restored. It was a very interesting experience. Details here tinyurl.com/2whssyxu
After two years, the day before tomorrow I finally went snowboarding again together with my friend Gregor, and took this on our way back home. :)
A neighbor prepares to use his snow blower to clear the driveway, and also two other neighboring driveways. It looked beautiful from my warm indoor widow view.
