Week 35 of 52 week project.
Didn't have an image for this week and to be honest I've been flagging a bit with this little project. Went to make a coffee this morning and didn't put the bottom on the Coffee Press, hey presto an image appears...
So week 35 complete.
Window light, hand held 50mm lens.
The orchids like one of our windows and they are funny to shoot, even in B&W.
Rollei RPX100 in 510Pyro.

Imagine... A little wooden shack nestling amongst the sand dunes along a deserted stretch of beach. The only sounds, the gentle lapping of the waves on the shoreline. A morning spent beach combing, bringing back the precious finds and decorating the hut's one windowsill. An evening sitting in quiet contemplation with a good book and only a candle for lighting. A good meal, perhaps fish you've caught yourself and cooked over an open fire on the beach. Sleep, restful deep sleep, lulled by the sounds of the waves, dreaming of a little wooden hut by the sea... Imagine...
In only six weeks this set of Amaryllis bulbs went from just having broken dormancy to this exuberant display. Gotta buy more of these easy to grow beauties next Winter.

Another shot from my trial shoot using my latest eBay purchase which is a Pentacon 50mm1.8 M42 fit and mounted on a Sony a7ii using a K&F concept adapter. Hoping everyone is fine and coping with the covid-19 crisis
I myself have fallen behind because of an exceptionally bad case of suspected food poisoning. I feel somewhat better today and I sincerely hope for the best for everyone...... best wishes Sue

I recently upgraded my 50 to a 35; I can totally see now why so many people love this focal length! So great for documentary work. I can't wait to play around with it outside this summer:)
