This was taken inside St.Mary's Church, Hanbury, Worcestershire. The overcast sky outside gave the interior of the church a gloomy feel with dark shadows in contrast to the softly lit tomb carvings.

This is Hannah, my roommate. She has scoliosis. At the age of 15, she underwent surgery where the doctors put a metal rod in her back to straighten her spine. She says she has to carry a special card that says she has a the rod in her back just in case she sets off metal detectors.

I asked Hannah to write a caption and this is what she wrote: "Scar, not like the lion."

This was me figuring out the settings for the new camera. The ribbons are a decoration I bought at a Renaissance Fair years ago, I've always loved it.
