Some might say this is cheating on my 366, but I'm just so thankful to have a series of images that look exactly as I imagined them.
Also, this sweater is my new favourite (reminds me of something a Weasley would wear), and I'm really thankful I didn't ruin it yesterday.
Last night when I was filling my tank with gas, the pump clicked off, but unbeknownst to me, the metal piece that props open the handle was caught between on and off when I pulled the it out from my car. Consequently, gasoline drenched my thighs and shoes, even though the spout was pointed away from me.
I thought I would die when some guy threw a sparking cigarette out of his window on the drive home. Yahoo! Answers had me convinced I would be suffering from difficulty breathing and seizures within the hour if I didn't light into a human torch. I am happy to report that I suffered no observable medical side-effects from my gasonline exposure.
The outside world presses close, a tangle of persistent green. Light filters through, softening the edges of the day. It feels like time has slowed as nature reclaims the view, and contemplating the leaves beyond the frame brings calm and peace.
Where I used to sit way back when I first started coming to Lenola -- over thirty years ago. The walls are crooked in Lenola, but I took this with a plastic fisheye lens, so they may appear more curved than they really are.
Kristin is soooo cute. I convinced her to take a 5 minute break from helping Jessi with the wedding in order to get some photos in the bathroom window.
So, tonight I get to spend with Billy, but he is not yet home... I am waiting patiently for his arrival, as we are planning on going out for dinner this evening.
I am very hungry... if anyone sees my husband, please tell him to come home right away, or I may have to eat a chihuahua.
This is my son Tristan. He’s a musician and his band, CandyApple, has just released a new album. I was fortunate to catch him sitting and being lit by the light from the window. I only had to get him to look my way for a minute.
