These little plants soaking up the rays remind me of our pets. They never complain, they always have a warm smile, and they always give unconditional love. All they need is a little loving care in return.
Words can never say, the way He says my name
He calls me lovely
No one ever sees, the way He looks at me
He sees me holy

This one is more about the quality of the light our large bay window provides, i.e. soft, forgiving, enveloping, and a breeze to edit. In addition I'm trying to get used to a new, manual focus lens and so subjects like this with an abundance of fine details make it clear if I hit focus or missed. :)) Practice will make perfect....eventually.
nadine was photographing for our fashion class with her sx-70 while i began to photograph for my portrait class. i couldn't help but make one image as soft and warm as nadine and her polaroids.
Not my usual, I really do perfer taking pictures of pretty things. Off to watch some hockey be back later tonight to check up on all your amazing work!!
