Taken for the Macro Mondays group. This weeks theme is "fruit". I didn't dry off the apple very well when I washed it and didn't notice the small waterdrop was still there until I had the photo uploaded on my computer to edit it. :D HMM everyone!

Annoyed due to the lack of nose boops and ear scratches. 30-seconds in cat time might as well be forever, right?

Indoor photography is apparently very serious business.

Luke enjoying the sunlight!

I just thought that these chaps were worthy of a photograph in the Kelham Island Tavern Sheffield.

I challenged to express the beauty of this flower..

This lovely woman is my mother-in-law. Kathy is gentle and kind and she is also an amazing cook. Here she is catching some soft light from a gorgeous window in her house that was built in 1884. Kathy was a bit unsure about having her portrait made...I promised my camera would not steal her soul.

Nikon D7000 + Tamron 28-105mm f/2.8 and tripod + remote. A Nissin 360WX - Digital on camera, bounced of the ceiling and a DÖRR DAF42 on a gorillapod from the side, plus som windowlight.

So. We had an fun and interesting assignment in school; To pick a photographer and one of his/hers pictures and do a remake of it. Some in my class has done their own interpretations while others, like myself, tried to create something as similar as possible.

I chose this picture by Jake Garn [original shown in comments] cause I have always really really loved it and it felt so.. me. The challange was to recreate the light, since the original was shot in a studio with lots of cool stuff :P but I am superhappy with the result :D

I decided to laterally reverse it, to make it a bit different ^^

Not had the most cheerful day. The weekend will be better.

I ace at bouncing back.

Light through the window was great, but adding a Godox AD200 outside the window helped fill the scene.

This one's been using the couch arm beneath her to sharpen her claws. :-/

She looks like she's posing but she's actually looking out the window watching the neighbourhood kids play on the snow hill in the centre of our court!!
