The James Morrison Brass Manufacturing Company was founded in 1864 in Toronto and made all kinds of industrial products. It was folded into a Cincinnati-based US conglomerate in the 1960s.

This was from a shop window in Juneau, AK. It may have been called the Russia House, but I don't remember for sure. Posted for Smile on Saturday theme: sequence/progression. Post-processed to help the dolls stand out from the cluttered background and with processing erased from the dolls.

A mix of two Pano-Sabotaged images and two SOOC sunsets. The main Pano-Sabotaged Image was repeated and mirrored in further additions. The sunsets were laid over top of each other.
Hiding away inside the general image is a reproduction of Manet's famous "Le Petit Dejeuner Sur L'Herbe". What at first looks like a simple moment of a bourjoisie picnic, is actually a radical fracturing of orthodox Renaissance perspective. Funny that it inadvertently ended up in the Pano-Sabotage image that I took of a Louis Vuitton shop window.
Image created Jan 4, 2018.

Self-involvement, social solipsism, individual solipsism, anthropocentrism, narcissism, ego, pride, entitlement, etc, etc .... vanities all for the bonfire. The play on Tom Wolfe is absolutely deliberate.

Smile on Saturday: Bicycles (2)
I’ve been hunting around for bicycles this week, and I found this classic retro bike in a shop window this morning. A bit of a different edit on this as I wanted a more vintage look...🌻
Thank you again for everything!!!! I’m working to catch up with all of you, and will try to over the next few days. xo
Do we entertain Angels unaware ?
Or are we entertainment for these
Heavenly beings ?

Window display in Matlock town, both the Town and the Bath were ultra busy...loads of motorcycles so this is image is the other end of the visual spectrum to the preceding photograph.
I like shooting window displays like this, someone else does the artsy work and there’s no tidying up to be done after. Big success!
