The Chilehaus (Chile House) with its 2.800 windows is a ten-story office building and was one of the first "high rise buildings" in Hamburg, Germany. It is located in the Kontorhausviertel and is an exceptional example of the 1920s Brick Expressionism style of architecture.

It was designed by the architect Fritz Höger and built between 1922 and 1924.

It was commissioned by the shipping magnate Henry B. Sloman, who made his fortune trading saltpeter from Chile, hence the name Chile House. The cost of construction is difficult to determine, as the Chile House was built during the period of hyperinflation that struck Germany during the early 1920s, but is estimated to have been more than 10 million reichsmark. Day 81 of my 366 Project

The view from one of the tunnel windows in Zion National Park, Utah. The tunnel is 1.1 miles long (1.8 km) and has two huge windows and stopping is not allowed. The tunnel is rounded so large vehicles have to drive down the middle so opposing traffic is stopped. I was first ahead of a bus and when I got the go sign I went hard and fast to be able to stop and take a picture from the tunnel window. I stopped and got out of the car, I fired off a few frames and got back in the car just as the bus was catching up.
