This window belongs to 14 College Green, Gloucester. It is situated in the Gloucester Cathedral precinct next to St Mary's Gate, one of the main entrances to the precinct. The house was built in the early 15th century as part of the Benedictine Abbey of St Peter (as the Cathedral was then known). It is believed the building at that time may have been the Almonry i.e. the office from which alms were distributed to the poor. The house is currently occupied and used as an office by one of the Cathedral's prebendaries (i.e. priest administrators).

From a flea market. I love this picture because I can almost hear that kitty purring in the warm sun. I love that she's out of focus - its like she's in a fog of happiness where only kitties go.

This is one of the vintage snap shots I keep in a little treasure box in my studio. I have several of these old photos and I thought I'd share them. To me, they are haunting. They occupy a very special place in my psyche.
