That is not sensor dust, that is a panel flying away from the "Swiss Light" at the top of the Tate Modern 'chimney'.
The weekend was a mighty windy one, and we expected a few branches to be down in work. We just didn't think they would be this size!
This is actually a branch, and not a whole tree, but it's a massive one! Fortunately, the branch fell with only damage to a fence panel, and not either of the two buildings that it could have hit hard.
The worrying thing is that the tree cutter who came today to start clearing declared it to be a fully healthy tree. It must have been a REALLY freak gust. Still, when you work next to a wood you expect a little bit of fall out from time to time. Nobody was hurt except the poor tree, and with it coming down during a school holiday the site was literally deserted.

Severe damage from a twister that swept through the "Lucky Landing" area just south of Atkins, Arkansas late Tuesday afternoon (February 5, 2008). A mom and dad and their 11 year-old daughter were killed in this area, as was another person, a 56 year-old man. Another person died of her injuries months after the event, five in all.

The good news is I found the roof wind damage I was looking for on the left side of the ridge. The bad news is I couldn't control the DJI Phantom 4 UAV very well in the wind (and I'm not all that experienced a pilot). Two broken propellors, otherwise not harmed. Yes, the sun is shining. Part of the crowd gathered in Forestville while police and fire crews search for a missing Kayaker after Hurricane Irene passed through Central Connecticut Saturday into Sunday. Two kayakers where spotted in the river, one was pulled out and the search is continuing for the other one.

45 feet of Sycamore tree on the electrical and phone lines, Saturday morning, Sept. 13, 2008. Ripped the electrical meter and breaker box off the back wall of my house. Actually, i felt very lucky as it didn't hit anyone's house. It knocked a hole in my neighbor's wooden fence but the 57 year old metal chain link fence had only one small bend in the top pipe! Electricity out for 13 days but phone was working. Houston, Texas.
