One way to recycle bottlecaps

8 chime set, using Lee Hite's calculator for "St. Mary's Cathedral" chimes. I tried a couple of new techniques, including pre knotting the lanyards for an even hang. I'm happy with this one

The copper wind chime was down for a couple months for restoration. The new aluminum chime is a Woodstock.

It is tuned to the opening notes of Amazing Grace.

My wind chimes in the backyard. I liked the angle and shallow dof.

my dad had a bunch of pens and pencils on his work bench in the basement. most were sharpened without a pencil sharpener. i recently saw an image of vintage pencils made into a wind chime. though i dont think these would make enough noise to call them a wind chime, i thought it would be an interesting project for me and the brood.

The wind chimes that sound outside my door look distinctly geometrical from below.

Just a couple of minutes of the wind blowing, just before the rain, with thunder and the alarm it set off nearby.. I like these wooden wind chimes, but the house practically has to be rocking to set them off.. Even as wild as the wind was here, they barely made a sound...

I took this pic around 1998 with my EOS Rebel... film :) I developed it myself, and this is a scan of that picture. I hope I can find my negatives and scan those, though I think that the rough edges give it a little je ne c'est quoi :)

I made this windchime for our dear friend in New Zealand. He is born in the year of Chinese Zodiac Dragon. I added crystals beads to make it sparkle in the light.

I hear the chimes and see the light sparkling on the suncatchers from my front door.
