A gust of wind from our big storm Saturday, October 25, 2014, literally punched a hole in the wall of this abandoned building fronting on U.S. Highway 101 in Port Orford, Curry County, Oregon. Winds up to 94 mph hit our area and did significant damage to our commercial dock. Initial estimates are at $400,000 in damage to the dock and its facilities.
Originally bought to sell her off again, I'm having second thoughts. The body poses well, the head reminds me of volks/obitsu vinyl dolls, the faceup is delicate and cute, but her hands are a bit small (I have other hands if I'm keeping her)

It had been a while since I drove past the wind farms near Palm Springs. There must be hundreds of turbines. It's a bit surreal seeing them all turning lazily in the wind that blows through this pass.
This was taken through my windshield during a break in traffic. I had the camera on full automatic, pointed, hit the shutter button and hoped for the best.
