Damir on mountain Velebit during forming strong wind called Bora (croatian Bura).

On 21 December 1998 the speed of a gust on the Maslenica Bridge (north of Zadar) was measured at a record speed of 248 kilometres per hour. During 22 to 25 December 2003 on A1 highway near Sveti Rok Tunnel new record was measured at speed of 304 kilometers per hour. Bora in Damir hair was not so strong.

High winds have blown sand away from the roots of this tree in White Sands.

Southern most hill in the Howgills, Winder is only 473 metres (1552 ft) high, but it towers over the town of Sedbergh and makes a great view point.

This is a small wind kite that was attached to a pole on Kuta Beach, Bali. I shot it with a wide angle lens from a few feet away and cloned out the rope that attached the bow to the pole I really like the figure in between the two masts who seems to be attempting to keep the entire exercise afloat.

Winder overlooks Sedbergh and is part of the Howgill range of hills.
